Cookie Policy.

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to enhance our user experience, analyze website traffic, and improve our services. Cookies are small text files that are placed on your device when you visit our website. They allow us to:

  • Recognize your device and remember certain information about your visit;
  • Ensure the websites function properly;
  • Understand how visitors use our websites, allowing us to improve functionality, to count visits, or to identify traffic sources; and/or
  • Personalize our content for you and remember your preferences.

You Can Choose To Accept Or Decline Cookies.

However, please note that disabling certain cookies may limit your ability to use some features of our website. By continuing to use our website, you are agreeing to our placing cookies on your device unless you have disabled them in your browser settings. How We Use Your Information.

We use the collected information to:

  • Provide and maintain our website;
  • Improve our website and your engagement experience;
  • Provide more relevant or contextualized information to you;
  • Improve our market offerings and associated services; and/or
  • Communicate with you.

SMS & Email Communications

When you give us a mobile number or email address, you're asking us to keep you in the loop. We use them only to:

  • send one-time security codes and verify your identity;
  • alert you when a new insight, decision prompt, or message is ready in your Mailander account;
  • confirm wait-list or other account activity; and
  • share product news or offers only if you've said yes to marketing.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your phone number or email with anyone—ever. We may pass it to trusted service providers (like our SMS platform) strictly to deliver the messages you asked for.

Opt out anytime: reply STOP to any Mailander text to quit SMS, or click unsubscribe in any email. Your choice takes effect immediately. Message frequency varies. Standard Msg & Data rates may apply.

Push Notifications

Mailander may request permission to send push notifications to your device. Push notifications are entirely optional. If you choose to enable them, we collect a device token that allows us to deliver notifications about new messages and activity in your account.

You can enable or disable push notifications at any time through your device Settings or within the app's notification preferences. When you disable push notifications, your device token is removed from our servers.

We use Google Firebase Cloud Messaging to deliver push notifications to your device. Google receives your device token solely for the purpose of push delivery. Firebase's privacy practices are governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

Voice Messages & Transcription

Mailander allows you to record and send voice messages as part of your engagement. Voice recordings are created only when you actively choose to record a message.

Voice recordings may be transcribed into text using a third-party service (ElevenLabs) to support your conversation. Audio data is transmitted securely and is used solely for transcription and message delivery. It is not used for training, advertising, or any other purpose.

You may delete your voice messages at any time, and they will be permanently removed when you delete your account.

Biometric Authentication

Mailander offers optional biometric sign-in using Face ID or Touch ID on supported devices. Biometric authentication is processed entirely on your device by Apple's built-in frameworks.

Mailander never receives, stores, or transmits your biometric data. We only store a preference indicating whether you have enabled biometric sign-in.

Analytics & Error Monitoring

We use the following third-party services to improve the app and maintain its reliability:

  • PostHog: Anonymous usage analytics to understand how features are used and to improve the app experience. This may include page views, feature interactions, and device type.
  • Sentry: Crash reporting and error monitoring to identify and resolve technical issues. This may include device information, app state at the time of a crash, and performance data.

These services receive only the data necessary for their function. We do not share personally identifiable information with these providers for marketing or advertising purposes.

We do not share personally identifiable information with these providers for marketing or advertising purposes. Data collected is used solely to improve Mailander.

Data Security.

All data transmitted between Mailander and our servers is encrypted in transit using industry-standard TLS encryption. Data stored on our servers is protected with encryption at rest.

We implement comprehensive technical and organizational measures to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and security of your personal information.

We never sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We may share collected information with:

  • Our employees and contractors on a strict need-to-know basis;
  • Third-party service providers who assist with our operations (e.g., IT services); and/or
  • Legal or regulatory authorities when required by law.

Data Retention.

We retain your information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.
